Sweet Surprise by C.M. Steele
Sweetheart’s Treats Book 1
I knew the moment I read that this book involved a bakery/sweet treats that I was going to read it. It’s like my personal kryptonite when it comes to books!
I absolutely adored this book! Amelia was full of sass and spunk, at her wits end with her dad c**ckblocking her for lack of a better word lol. When your dad is the town sheriff he can easily scare every guy off and in Amelia’s case its true.
Blake wasn’t going to let the Sheriff run him off but he also wasn’t going to rush Amelia. The chemistry ramped up as they worked together in the bakery and by the end of the book sweet treats took on a whole new meaning.
This was a super sweet and super hot read with just the right mix of drama/suspense to make it perfect.

Insta Love at First Sight Book 2
This quick beachy read was perfect in this cold snowy weather, I was able to transport to somewhere warm and sunny even if just for a short while.
Dayton & Brynn’s story packed in a lot for a short story: rich guy in a stunning beach house, an ocean rescue, a down on her luck curvy girl and insane instant chemistry.
This book was a great mix of sweet and steamy and made me once again believe that a curvy girl CAN get the muscled chiseled hunk.

I had seen Lula’s name around social media so I knew I’d need to check into her books…she got me hook line and sinker with the cover model on this one! Everyone knows that’s my cover model crush! (Lol even my hubby does)
This was a great story, Roxy meets Mason as he is becoming a new client for her firm…turns out Mason has had his eye on Roxy for more then just a business relationship for some time.
Those instant chemistry sparks fly and this progress pretty darn quick. Roxy is brains and curvy beauty packed in one small body and Mason is a tall muscled man…I admit I was drooling lol 🤤🤤
I’ll be back to read more from Lula, this book found me another go-to author!

Ooh this one was hot!
Absolutely loved the idea of a bada** female mechanic who owns her shop AND also has a bakery side hustle. If that wasn’t enough Laney also has a strong personality and a 50’s pin-up style.
A one-night stand that ends up being with the competition leads to a bit of a personal struggle for Laney; not so much for Eddie, he knows what he wants and he’s gonna get it. And the physical chemistry and a bit of kink in the bedroom between Eddie & Laney made this story HOT.

Beauty and the Boss by Mink Romance
AHHH Mink is getting me every time with her books! She’s really got a way of making her books stand out and be unique in a sea of romance books.
This book was total opposites attract, dark and brooding/sunny and chipper. With a grumpy cat thrown in for some comedic moments!
I loved the older man/younger woman, boss/office set up of the book along with the bit of kink thrown in there. That was super fun and hot!
Another must read from MINK! I look forward to the next!

I’m a sucker for a good billionaire / down on her luck girl romance…so of course I had to read this one from Sara!
Julian was the perfect billionaire book boyfriend, he saw his money as something to share and give to those who could better use it, he wanted to marry for love and was determined to do whatever if took to find his One.
Sweet Charlotte had such a hard life and had been through so much, I kept cheering her on hoping she’d see the blessings that Julian was offering her along with his love.
If you love a good older man/younger woman romance and a feel good romance then you need to grab this one!

Exiled Guardians MC Book 7
OW/YM books are not normally my thing BUT if it’s Hope Ford I’m reading it…plus she got me with it being in book 7 of her amazing MC series.
Loved getting to watch “the player” fall and change his ways for THE woman. It really was and Insta-Love connection.
I enjoyed that Maggie was a curvy woman and that she had some sass and stubbornness to her, I like strong willed leading ladies.
This book really highlighted that age is just a number, Brewer was very much “the man” and still as growly and alpha possessive as any other guy in this series.

Book 2 Insta Love Alpha Male
Hope was a name I recognized from social media as a new indie author so I wanted to show my support by giving one of her books a try.
I really enjoyed her take on a nanny/billionaire boss romance. Tessa and Jack had major chemistry and their relationship development felt natural and not rushed. I enjoyed the fact that the kids remained a strong focus of the story.
I also enjoyed the bit of intrigue/mystery that was rolled into the story. It was a quick read but got a lot accomplished in those pages!
My only issue with the book is that while the book was written in dual pov the epilogue flipped to 3rd person and it just didn’t flow/fit well with the book

Love Forever by Lucy Darling
Lucy is becoming one of my favorite go to authors! She really has a great way of wrapping so many of my favorites into a single book.
This one was packed with a billionaire, one night stand, secret baby and a determined hunk who was gonna get his girl.
I enjoy that Lucy continues to tie characters from her other books into the next, I love feeling invested in a set of characters. Another must read!
